~~Wake and Shine

Wake and shine is a self help group established in the year 2013. Consequently, the group was registered in the same year under the Kenya's ministry of social services, gender and social protection under the registration number; THA/DSS/SH/4163.
The group consists of majorly youths. the group has most of its activities majored in Tharaka constituency, Chaiakariga sub county with a keen focus on Kamarandi and Kamanyaki locations. The groups head and operational services are at Nkuthe village in Kamarandi location about 20KM East of Tharaka Nithi county headquarters.
currently the group has membership of 21 senior members and 7 junior members. the main objective of the group is to bring youths together as members, develop a synergy of working for a common goal with the aim of tackling the challenges facing them. to achieve this, the group also recognizes the importance of communal development as an integral part of individual development.
In view of this, the group organizes and participates in various community development such as; organizing youth mentorship seminars and youth tournaments, environmental conservation, helping address cross cutting issues among others. The group is diverse in terms of races, tribes religions, professionalism and origins. the group currently boosts of members from different professionalisms and is welcoming anyone who feels that they share the vision with us to come and join us!
